Craig Leggo - Vocal Demo
Seven Monkeys Fighting enjoyed regular gigs throughout Brisbane's live scene. I thoroughly enjoyed the company of the guys in SMF. I loved the chance to work with some really talented musicians. It was great to get some more live experience and learn how to connect with the crowd as individuals, not just as a group.
The demos were created at Alchemix Studios in Brisbane and were done in one take with no auto-tune funny business in production. The range of songs are dictated of course by the nature of the band itself, being a pub rock covers band, and not necessarily by the taste of the band members.
My vocal influences are, in no particular order - Sammy Davis, Tony Bennett, Sting, Jon Stevens, John Farnham, Irwin Thomas, Jeff Buckley, Seal, Freddie Mercury, Neil Finn, Matt Bellamy, Stevie Wonder, Chris Cornell, Steve Perry, Roy Orbison. There's probably more, but these guys will do.
