Summary




This project was superbly created by a great friend of mine, Hemma Kearney.  Hemma works as a videographer and asked if I could voice the promo for Vive Health.  I needed no more encouragement.  Voice over is something I am so drawn to, having spent a ludicrous amount of my school years honing the art of gently teasing the teachers with impressions.  In short, I loved working with Hemma to bring this promo to life.  Voice over is not my career, nor do I profess to be great at it - however it's so much fun that I can't really believe I get any money to do it at all.

The story-teller…

Emma with an ‘h’. It’s also pronounced phonetically – no nasty surprises! My name is Hemma but other derivatives are fine too. Emma, Gemma, Heather, Hannah, Henna… and yes even Pamela has been a part of the Hemma-derivative family.

I’m not really sure how I ended up here. From a tiny tot, I’ve always thought up incredible stories, and as I got older they developed into film ideas inside my head.. My head all of a sudden needed backup hard drives upon back up hard drives to store it all. The mainframe wasn’t coping so I eventually picked up a camera.

I hassled a few friends from school with semi-Mexican looks, a chicken from Mum’s yard and headed rural. I had my first short film “Mexico 1939″. Unfortunately I lost the chicken in the process… The film won the school’s film competition and also took out “Best Cinematography” at the local university, Bond.
