Trade Show Loop
Summary
Often at conferences and trade shows, exhibitors wish to display a looping video or presentation in order to highlight the attributes they wish the attendees to know about their organisations. With this in mind, this project was created as a four minute looping video designed to catch the eye and invite questions from attendees. It's purpose is to engage and relate to the viewer and invite conversation with the representatives on the stand. In this way, it is an additional member of the team who may perhaps be called on to entertain those attendees who are waiting to talk with someone or simply passing by.
Using Camtasia as the software tool, this presentation includes stock imagery and an audio theme, along with quotes from notable figures throughout history in regard to the subject matter.
Content
The module comprises a number of assets such as video, audio, images and text. These are all housed and presented to the end user using the software program 'Camtasia', allowing all the elements to be drawn together in a time-line.
Camtasia also contributes to the content through such features as transition effects, point and zoom and text captioning. These elements are vital to the continuity of the presentation as they draw the eye to the appropriate point of focus very effectively.
Camtasia is perhaps not the most sophisticated tool available for the creation of such a project, however in this case it worked successfully enough that the end product looks and performs very well. It would not appear out of place in a conference or trade show in the least, and this was the aim.
